SCUTREA Conference 2016: Expressions of Interest

SCUTREA’s Annual Conference 2015 is fast approaching and we are looking forward to welcoming you in Leeds in a few weeks’ time. In the meantime, we would like to start the process of organising our annual conference for 2016. We do not know yet where and when this conference will take place, but warmly invite you to send in an Expression of Interest. Usually, the conference takes place around the first week of July, but another date can be proposed, as long as it does not clash with conferences organised by our friends from other adult education communities such as ESREA’s triennial conference, BERA post-compulsory SiG and UALL events.

The conference will be organised by the host institution, but with strong support from the Council team, including sending out the call for abstracts, posting information on the SCUTREA website, selecting abstracts, awarding bursaries, helping with selecting the best student paper prize. One Council meeting will be organised at the host university to visit the conference location.

Expressions of Interest should be sent to the SCUTREA Chair Ellen.Boeren@ed.ac.uk before the 5th of July so that the Council team has time to discuss the proposals during the conference in Leeds (which will take place from 7-9th July). The Expression of Interest can be sent in Word format and should contain some answers to specific questions. The full detail of our requirements can be found via the document in the following link: http://tinyurl.com/SCUTREA110615
