Public Debate: 'Learning, inequality and social cohesion in recession'
This will be a 'QuesitonTime'-style debate on the role of lifelong learning in a time of recession and in the cotnext of growing inequalities across the UK. Central to the debate will be the extent to which social coehsion is threatened asa result of inequality. Presentations by Professor Andy Green (Institute of Education, London), Geoff Mason (NIESR) other researchers from the Centre for Learning and Life Chances in Knowledge Economies and Societies (LLAKES).

Entry is FREE, lunch and refreshments provided. Places are limited and prior registration is essential.
