Professor Linden West's inaugural lecture is to take place on Tuesday 22nd June at 5.30pm for 6pm at Canterbury Christ Church University. The topic is 'Families, communities and learning...democracy? An

40th SCUTREA CONFERENCE

The 40th Annual SCUTREA Conference is scheduled for Tuesday 6 to Thursday 8 July 2010.  The conference will be organised from the University of Warwick, three miles south of the centre of the city of Coventry in Kenilworth. The conference has previously been held there in 1999 - the 29th Annual Conference. The Conference Organiser then was Barbara Merrill, and it is she that will again be the organiser for the 2010 Conference.   Details will updated on this website as they become available.

DEMOGRAPHIC CHANGE AND THE EDUCATION OF OLDER ADULTS
First Conference of the ESREA Network on Education and Learning of Older Adults. Call for Papers (the conference language will be English, and will be held in Munich, Germany.) Abstracts for paper presentations to be submitted by Monday 5 April 2010 to Bernhard Schimdt-Hertha (b.schmidt@lmu.de). Acceptance of abstracts to be confirmed by 30 April 2010. Final 5,000-word papers based on accepted proposals will need to be submitted by Monday 30 August 2010. Conference presentations will not exceed 30 minutes. Further details can be downloaded here.
